United Way of St. Joseph County Awards Grant to the Hub

The Hub is happy to announce the receipt of a $11,475 grant from United Way of St. Joseph County. This grant will support the establishment of our victim/survivor service coalition, expanding no-cost assistance to local crime victims including our upcoming restorative justice facilitation services.

The Hub will work with victims of crime to identify their needs, coordinating with local agencies and referring victims to needed services. The Hub also will facilitate dialogues between people who have been involved in and affected by a crime, when a safe conversation is likely to help them move forward. This service will give the community new ways of addressing harm, responding to the lingering effects of victimization and breaking cycles of violence and retribution.
